On March 5, the highly anticipated ASEAN (Bangkok) HVAC & Cleanroom Industry Expo 2025 officially opened at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Thailand. Co-hosted by Thailand Compass and Guangdong Hongwei International Exhibition Group, the event joins forces with the ASEAN (Bangkok) Energy Storage & Smart Energy Expo 2025 to energize the new energy economy and establish a closed-loop ecosystem integrating technology showcases, policy insights, and investment implementation.

As a key tribute to the 50th anniversary of China-Thailand diplomatic relations, the expo has received strong support from the Thai government and leading international organizations. Sayan Pansang, Deputy Governor of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, emphasizing Thailand’s strategic position as ASEAN’s energy transition hub. The event also benefits from the global expertise of organizations such as AHRI (USA), ABOK (Russia), and Eurovent Middle East (Europe), injecting a truly international perspective into the exhibition.

Westinghouse Konda presented medical purification and energy-efficient air conditioning systems.

BOTH launched its next-generation modular cleanroom solution (BOTH-X).

HON MING showcased high-efficiency cooling towers, smart central air conditioning systems, and customized solutions for the HVAC & cleanroom industry in Southeast Asia.

Addressing ASEAN’s hot and humid climate, exhibitors displayed high-efficiency cooling, anti-static purification, and intelligent temperature control technologies to meet the stringent cleanroom requirements of the industrial, medical, and electronics sectors.

As Thailand serves as the core of ASEAN’s zero-tariff trade zone, Chinese companies occupy over half of the exhibition booths.

Hongwei Group leverages a database of 410 million entries to accurately match exhibitors with Southeast Asian buyers, facilitating direct business connections with Thailand and surrounding markets.

The ASEAN (Bangkok) Energy Storage & Smart Energy Summit gathered global industry leaders, including government representatives from Thailand’s Ministry of Energy, EGAT, Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission, and India’s Ministry of Energy. International associations such as the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), German Solar Association (BSW), Malaysia Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA), Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association (JPEA), South African Alternative Energy Association (SAAEA), Russian Renewable Energy Development Association (RREDA), and India Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade Association (RATA) joined forces with HVAC leaders like Eurovent (Europe), ABOK (Russia), and ABRAVA (Brazil) to discuss sustainable policies, green energy applications, and regional cooperation, providing strategic direction for Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region’s energy transition.

Notably, this year’s expo has attracted foreign buyers from North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania. On the first day alone, over 15,000 professional attendees from around the world visited the event. Delegations from Russia, Japan, and Saudi Arabia conducted on-site negotiations, with over 1,000 cooperation intentions expected to be finalized.
